Neuer Metalcore aus Großbritannien

Die neue britische Metalcore-Band HERIOT kündigt heute ihr Debütalbum „Devoured By The Mouth Of Hell“ an. Die Platte erscheint am 27. September über Century Media.

Die Briten haben auf sich aufmerksam gemacht, indem sie metallischen Sludge und Hardcore verbinden und Elemente von NAILS, KNOCKED LOOSE, CODE ORANGE und VEIN.FM vereinen. Die Debüt-EP „Profound Morality“ (2022) von HERIOT katapultierte das Quartett ins globale Rampenlicht, mit Lob weltweit und einer ausverkauften Headline-Tour durch Großbritannien. Die Band hat seitdem LAMB OF GOD, THY ART IS MURDER, ROLO TOMASSI unterstützt und unter anderem beim Download Festival, 2000trees, Wacken Open Air, Bloodstock, Mystic Festival gespielt.

„‘Foul Void‘ was one of the last tracks written for our debut album, Devoured by the Mouth of Hell. Sonically influenced by ’90s and early 00’s metalcore, the song delves into the inner struggle of an individual facing uncertainties about their faith.“
