Halford
Schlechtes Gedächtnis?
News
You as a hardcore fan complain if you don’t see what you expected. OK, I can understand that. Maybe you have seen me on a weaker day. But there have also been other shows where I just did exactly these movements like I used to—and that weren’t only a few. I admit the teleprompter drives me crazy. I don’t know if it’s because of getting older or if I can’t handle the mass of information anymore. I have increasing difficulties to remember song lyrics. That’s a severe problem, which is currently [being] medically checked up. I’m bothered myself about being dependent on auxiliary means like a teleprompter, because certainly I’d like to move around freely on the stage — but I’m simply afraid of running from one side of the stage to the other and thereby forgetting a line of the lyrics. That would be a catastrophe!“
