FINNTROLL sind zurück und haben gleich den Titeltrack ihres neuen Werkes „Blodsvept“ im Handgepäck. Die Trolle sagen zu dem Stück: „Blodsvept is the track that sets the tone for this new abomination of an album. This song is perfect for driving – Driving for your life, that is, while being chased by a gang of trolls, in a catapult, on a motorway! Pull out your sun-spectacles from your glove compartment and honk if you love blood and guts!!!“

„Blodsvept“, das sechste FINNTROLL-Studioalbum, wurde im Sonic Pump Studio in Helsinki aufgenommen und von Mika Jussila im Finnvox Studio gemastert. Henri „Trollhorn“ Sorvali und die Band produzierten das Album selbst, das Artwork wurde von Gitarrist Samuli „Skrymer“ Ponsimaa gestaltet, und sogar die Produktion des anstehenden Videoclips regeln die Trolle in Eigenregie. „Blodsvept“ erscheint am 22. März 2013 auf Century Media Records.

Die Band wird außerdem einige Special-Release-Shows spielen. Weitere Einzelheiten zu diesen Shows mit speziellen Sets folgen demnächst.
