Unterzeichnen bei Ferret Music

Die junge, kalifornische Death-Core-Band ELYSIA hat einen Vertrag bei Ferret Music unterzeichnet. Die Band besteht aus Zak Vargas (Vocals), Mark Underwood (Gitarre), Steven Sessler (Drums), Danny Lemonsqueeze (Gitarre) and Jeremy Chavez (Bass) und wurde vor vier Jahren gegründet. Die Bandmitglieder sind im Schnitt 18 Jahre alt, Gitarrist Danny ist erst 16.

Zak Vargas zu dem Vertrag mit Ferret: „We are not only excited as fans of the label but as people, we spoke to other labels and they seemed not to understand our scene and were all business. Carl (Severson) at Ferret runs a top notch label with a diverse roster of artists and also is a genuine person.”

Die Band, die vor Kurzem ihre Tour mit WITH BLOOD COMES CLEANSING, ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS und KNIGHTS OF THE ABYSS abgeschlossen hat, geht im Dezember mit Kurt Ballou (CONVERGE) ins Studio, um ihr Ferret-Debüt aufzunehmen. Erscheinen soll dieses im Laufe des nächsten Jahres, ein genaueres Releasedate ist bislang nicht bekannt.
