Zur Feier ihre 25ten Jahrestages werden die Misfits am 18. April, mit Jerry Only am Micro, eine Show in New York geben. Nach der anschließenden Tour werden sie sich dann auf ins Studio machen, um den Nachfolger zur grandiosen „Famous Monsters“ CD einzuspielen. Die CD wird eventuell auf dem Bandeigenen Label erscheinen, da die Jungs mit dem Roadrunner Deal überhaupt nicht zufrieden waren. Kommentar: „It didn’t work out for us. We’re not satisfied with their response. THE MISFITS were better off as a garage band, we did our own stuff and kept things collectible and in small quantities. We’re not a big label band and I realize that now. I’m not going to bang my head on the wall to sell a million records. I’m going to get out there, put out great stuff, and continue the legend.“
